About the Role
We are looking for an Account Manager - Local Shops to join our team in Bahrain and contribute to our growth. This role involves developing business through vendors in-person and maintaining long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- βDevelop, optimize and grow a portfolio of accounts through business reviews, KPI tracking and data analysis to identify and drive revenue growth.
- βCollaborate cross-functionally with operations, marketing and vendor teams to ensure correct assortment, pricing, promotions, and service quality.
- βMonitor vendor relationships to ensure consistent service levels.
- βEnsure category growth, healthy order volumes and the right product assortment.
- βMaintain continuous business relationships with clients/Vendors via in-person visits, regular phone calls and emails.
- βProvide excellent service and support to build strong relationships and resolve operational issues between clients/Vendor and company.
- βMake sure client catalogs are up to date at all times.
- βOptimize the Vendor content (MOA, Delivery time).
- βCommission rate renegotiation: Building new commercial relationships by renewing existing contacts and renegotiating offers.
- βAdvertisement sales: Acquiring and maintaining pictures from brand catalogue, using Talabat branding stickers, banners and newsletter.
- βGenerating food coupons, promotions and vouchers from existing Vendors.
- βConvince clients/Vendors for brand promotion of Talabat pictures.
- βTransmission method optimization: Convincing clients/Vendor to implement a track order feature and changing the transmission method to WLA.
- βConvince the Vendor to go for digitalization (Backlinks, Splash pages, White-label, Facebook button).
- βEncourage Vendors to subscribe to the online payment gateway.
- βCoordinate with the Vendor to check and resolve issues such as shutting down or stopping delivery.
- βMaintain accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities including sales calls, closed sales, follow-up activities, sales expense report, presentations, sales meeting report (new Vendor), and Vendor analysis sheet.
