About the Role
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join the Customer Logistics Choice Domain, focusing on delivering exceptional customer experiences. This role involves working with high-volume, low-latency systems to determine which restaurants and shops customers can order from.
Key Responsibilities
- →Drive technical improvements for services, identifying architectural blockers and reliability risks
- →Consult with domain leads on complex decisions involving risk, opportunity, and costs
- →Solve critical problems beyond the scope of individual teams while building consensus
- →Serve as a mediator on technical topics within and outside the organization
- →Contribute to the tribe’s Backend chapter and provide input on tribe-level technical topics
- →Own the long-term architecture of domain services and technical stack
- →Promote best practices across teams
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Kafka and Kotlin
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle high-volume, low-latency systems
- ✓Ability to work closely with feature teams to drive reliability, quality, scalability, and efficiency
