JOB PURPOSE
This role is part of our Creative & Media team based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Creatives, Influencer Marketers, Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers, Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. Together, we blend imaginative storytelling and performance-driven strategies with cutting-edge technology to create engaging digital experiences that build lasting relationships with our clients.
As a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will be helping us build the future of our agency through effective talent acquisition strategies. As candidates' first point of contact, you represent DEPT®'s culture, and are responsible for ensuring a positive candidate journey throughout the recruitment process. Partnering with hiring teams to understand role requirements, share regular hiring updates, and provide market insights.
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
• Review applications, screen resumes, and assess candidates' qualifications for various positions within the organization.
• Conduct thorough phone screenings to evaluate candidates' skills and experience.
• Guide candidates through the entire recruitment process, providing timely updates, feedback, and support.
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers and management teams to understand their recruitment needs and align candidate profiles accordingly.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and extending offers to successful candidates.
• Devise and implement effective strategies to attract passive candidates, ensuring a steady pipeline of high-quality talent.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records and documentation in our applicant tracking system.
WHAT YOU BRING:
• Previous experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition role, with success in attracting and selecting top talent in the creative or digital industry.
• Experience in setting up, preparing, and conducting candidate phone screenings, ensuring a thorough assessment of candidates.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work closely with internal stakeholders, such as hiring managers and operational directors.
• Excellent organizational skills, ability to manage priorities, and attention to detail, ensuring a smooth and efficient recruitment process.
• Proficiency in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment tools to manage candidate data and streamline processes.
• A strong interest in the practical applications of AI in a business context, with a proactive approach to embedding new technologies in your daily work.
• Experience using generative AI or other smart tools in a professional or personal capacity to increase productivity and solve problems is a plus.
