About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Product Owner to join our team at Grupo Despegar. This role focuses on managing and evolving our platform, with a focus on efficiency and automation.

Key Responsibilities

→Lead the discovery and definition of requirements for improving our management tool
→Prioritize the product backlog to ensure developed features meet critical operational needs
→Act as a liaison between development, operations, and legal teams
→Analyze process flows to identify improvement opportunities
→Design and implement solutions to increase case success rates
→Identify patterns in incoming claims to propose product improvements
→Collaborate with other product teams to close operational gaps
→Transform claim data into actionable insights for business improvement

Requirements

✓Professional degree in engineering, business administration, finance, economics, or related field
✓Minimum one year experience in product or business areas
✓Proficiency in SQL, Google Sheets, Excel, and data visualization tools
✓Intermediate English proficiency
