About the Role

We are looking for a Key Account Executive to join our Sourcing Non Air team at Grupo Despegar, Latin America's leading travel platform. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with key travel agency accounts.

Key Responsibilities

→Manage and develop relationships with key accounts from travel agencies, ensuring personalized and effective service
→Acquire and manage new accounts to increase client portfolio and strengthen market presence
→Conduct regular KPI reviews to measure account performance and propose improvement strategies
→Monitor and analyze market trends using tools to identify growth opportunities
→Search for new travel agencies to expand reach and maximize business opportunities
→Maintain continuous contact with clients through email, calls, and in-person visits
→Enhance agency sales with purchase programs
→Train agencies on various content
→Post-sale follow-up, promotion, and incentive communication
→Relationship management with other company departments

Requirements

✓University degree or higher in tourism, hospitality, or related fields like business administration
✓Minimum 2 years of experience in account management and business development in the travel industry with travel agencies
✓Experience in client visits, georeferencing, and route planning
✓Experience with performance KPIs and presentation creation
✓Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, formulas), office suite, and presentation tools
✓Availability to travel
✓Note: This is primarily an external commercial management position requiring daily client visits
