About the Role

We are looking for a Cloud Architect to join T Cloud Public, a leading European cloud platform that shapes the future of secure, scalable, open-source cloud technology. This role involves enhancing and evolving the physical and virtual networking layers of our OpenStack-based platform.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, operate, and further develop OpenStack-based network services on the T Cloud Public platform in close collaboration with vendors and internal experts.
→Plan and drive automation initiatives using modern frameworks to improve reliability and speed.
→Enhance the platform’s network architecture with a strong focus on IT security and robustness.
→Work closely with specialists across the Deutsche Telekom Group on topics related to public cloud and open-source technologies.
→Prepare technical materials, present architectural concepts, and advise management on strategic technology decisions.
→Act as a senior architect within an agile squad, supporting, mentoring, and guiding colleagues as part of everyday work.
→Handle hands-on tasks at the console to validate and support architectural decisions.
