About the Role

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to join Deutsche Telekom IT and contribute to developing and maintaining microservice applications. This role involves creating high-quality business-oriented applications focused on mobile network equipment certification and commissioning.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, develop, and maintain complex microservices using Java, Spring framework, and Camel
→Ensure code quality and maintainability through code reviews and unit tests
→Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings
→Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks to ensure efficient application performance
→Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability
→Provide technical guidance and mentorship
→Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices
→Create and maintain technical documentation
→Share regular progress reports and updates

Requirements

✓Comprehensive understanding of Java, Spring framework, and REST practices
✓Experience with event-driven microservices and Camunda BPMN workflow
✓Proactive problem-solving approach with attention to detail
✓Commitment to staying updated with industry trends and best practices
✓Knowledge of frontend technologies (Angular, React) is preferred
✓Experience with testing tools/frameworks, Kubernetes, Docker, and Git is advantageous
✓Familiarity with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google) and databases
✓Understanding of Grafana is a plus
