About the Role
We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing Product Design team at Discord. You will be involved in the full end-to-end product development process for our ads products, focusing on Discord Quests. You'll partner with engineers, product managers, and researchers to create compelling advertising experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- →Embed within a product squad and partner with cross-functional teams to oversee the user experience from concept to launch
- →Understand company goals focused on revenue generation through Discord Quests and drive concepts to reach those goals
- →Present designs to build consensus and drive alignment
- →Create wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and help implement designs to pixel perfection
- →Test, learn, and iterate on designs alongside partners
- →Help maintain our Design pattern library
- →Be an active member of the Discord Design team and foster a culture of design
Requirements
- ✓2+ years experience designing and shipping web/app products for various devices and platforms
- ✓Experience combining business acumen, systems thinking, and design craft to create advertising experiences
- ✓Experience designing end-to-end experiences within a cross-functional team
- ✓Strong product thinking and vision
- ✓Ability to dig into experiment data to inform design iterations
- ✓High level of design craft and advanced experience with Figma
