About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager – Refunds & Chargebacks to join our team at dLocal. This role focuses on improving the post-transactional experience across markets, making the refund and chargeback process best-in-class for buyers and merchants.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Refunds & Chargebacks across countries and payment methods.
- →Define clear KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- →Design simple, predictable flows for buyers and merchants, working with Merchant Experience, Integrations, and UX.
- →Partner with Operations to build internal tools and workflows that reduce handling time, errors, and rework.
- →Embed AI-native capabilities into processes with Data and ML teams.
- →Develop evidence strategies and tools to improve dispute win rate.
- →Collaborate with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Risk, and Commercial teams to ship high-quality changes.
Requirements
- ✓Product management experience
- ✓5+ years in product management in payments, fintech, risk, or operations-heavy products
- ✓Proven track record owning complex product areas end-to-end
- ✓Strong understanding of payment flows, especially how refunds and chargebacks interact with authorization, settlement, and accounting
- ✓Highly data-driven, comfortable working with large datasets and product metrics
- ✓Experience defining and tracking operational and financial KPIs
- ✓Experience designing or launching AI-powered features
- ✓Ability to lead complex, cross-functional initiatives
- ✓Strong communication skills in English; Spanish or Portuguese is a plus
- ✓Bias for action: you do whatever it takes to make your product and team successful
