About the Role
We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead Doctolib’s Core Backend Foundations team (ATP) within our Platform domain. This role involves guiding a team of engineers to build shared Ruby/Rails backend foundations used by all product teams, focusing on quality, scalability, and usability.
Key Responsibilities
- →Ensure business objectives are met as a team, by driving growth and performance of each team member
- →Define a mission, vision for your team, align on a clear roadmap, and be the end-to-end owner of the team’s delivery and quality
- →Participate in code reviews and be hands-on if required
- →Lead cross-functional initiatives to up-level our engineering team
- →Set standards and exceed security, reliability, performance and scalability requirements
Requirements
- ✓At least 8+ years of software engineering experience and 4+ years of management experience
- ✓Eager to stay technically close to the work (architecture, reviews, occasional hands-on)
- ✓Understanding of the value of testing your code
- ✓Proven experiences developing efficient, maintainable and secure products
- ✓Comfortable speaking English in your day-to-day with the team
