About the Role
We are looking for a Java/Kotlin Software Engineer to join Doctolib’s Platform team, NTC, responsible for the async platform and communication APIs. This role involves building and maintaining common building blocks for the system with a "Platform as a Product" mindset.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to define and implement features
- →Take a leading role in establishing a technical vision for performance, security, and usability
- →Improve the performance of key features implemented in Java/Kotlin and Spring Boot
- →Deliver roadmap items and contribute to the creation of the roadmap for next quarters
- →Provide help and advice to other teams as a Platform expert
Requirements
- ✓Proactive, curious, collaborative, and eager to learn
- ✓Expert knowledge of Java/Kotlin & Spring Boot
- ✓Solid understanding of web technologies and software development life cycle
- ✓"User first" mindset focused on building secure, well-tested, and pragmatic code
- ✓Fluent in English
- ✓Experience in Platform Engineering or working with a Platform engineering team
