About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join Dropbox's team and contribute to the next generation of engineering technologies. This role involves building software to handle massive amounts of user data and ensuring the integrity of our technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- →Research, design, build, and test engineering technologies
- →Build software to handle metadata for billions of files and petabytes of data
- →Analyze software requirements to deliver feasible designs within constraints
- →Write modular, secure, and well-tested code
- →Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable solutions
- →Improve internal tooling and development environment
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field plus 8 years of experience, or Master’s degree plus 5 years of experience
- ✓Expertise in C, C++, C#, or Java
- ✓Proficiency in Python, React, Go, or JavaScript
- ✓Experience with Git, Phabricator, Jira, or equivalent tools
- ✓Knowledge of unit and integration testing, debugging
- ✓Understanding of Software Development Life Cycle
- ✓Familiarity with data processing, networking, operating systems, computer graphics, human-computer interaction, algorithms, or databases
- ✓Application Development experience
