About the Role
We are looking for a Backend Engineer to join DualEntry, a fast-growing AI startup revolutionizing the ERP market. This hands-on role involves building and owning critical features end-to-end for our AI-native ERP system, increasing product velocity and reliability.
Key Responsibilities
- →Own end-to-end execution for backend systems and infrastructure
- →Build APIs, services, and real-time systems handling complex accounting logic
- →Collaborate with founders, product, and frontend engineering to turn complex workflows into secure, performant systems
- →Design, implement, and ship production-ready features at high speed
- →Manage data migrations, scaling challenges, external integrations, and end-to-end reliability
- →Drive measurable outcomes that accelerate DualEntry’s product velocity and stability
Requirements
- ✓10 years of overall experience, or at least 5 years of strong AWS-focused engineering experience
- ✓Deep understanding of AWS services (EC2, ECS/EKS, RDS, IAM, networking, etc.)
- ✓Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- ✓Strong background in CI/CD systems (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or similar)
- ✓Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and modern deployment workflows
- ✓Experience implementing monitoring and observability solutions (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.)
- ✓Comfortable working independently to build new systems and processes from the ground up
- ✓Time zone flexibility to support partial 24-hour coverage is preferred
