About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented data analyst with strong Dutch language skills to support Lightcast's global product expansion. This role involves analyzing multilingual data, improving classification systems, and supporting taxonomy translation between English and Dutch.
Key Responsibilities
- →Analyze and improve the quality of multilingual text classifier outputs
- →Partner with linguistics and engineering teams to develop language-specific parsers
- →Translate and validate taxonomy content between English and Dutch
- →Identify data error patterns and contribute to workflow improvements
- →Document findings clearly and follow established processes
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Linguistics, Data Analytics, NLP, or related field
- ✓Fluency in Dutch and English with strong linguistic attention to detail
- ✓Understanding of syntax and structural language analysis
- ✓Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with VLOOKUPs and data cleanup
- ✓Working knowledge of SQL and RegEx
- ✓Experience with text analysis, NLP, or machine learning
- ✓Data analysis experience using Excel or Python
- ✓Ability to work independently with high-volume tasks
- ✓Reliable laptop and stable internet access
