About the Role
We are looking for a Lead AWS Java Platform Engineer to join our fast-growing company with a data-first mindset. This role involves working with advanced technology platforms to help clients drive action and impact through data and insights.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design and implement cloud-native Kubernetes microservices
- →Integrate with scalable technologies such as Kafka in Docker container environments
- →Lead a team of data engineers, software architects, and product experts
- →Work with RESTful web services and Angular
- →Drive projects and teams toward success
Requirements
- ✓Minimum of 8+ years of industry experience
- ✓Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent in Computer Science or a related field
- ✓Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and cloud technologies
- ✓End-to-end experience delivering production-ready code with Java8, Spring Boot, Spring Data, and API libraries
- ✓Familiarity with web application standards and end-to-end implementation with Angular and REST APIs
- ✓Strong experience with unit and integration testing of Spring Boot APIs
- ✓Strong understanding and production experience of RESTful APIs and microservice architecture
- ✓Understanding of SQL databases and NoSQL databases
- ✓Experience with Kafka and Docker container environments
- ✓Experience leading teams and working with minimal supervision
