About the Role
We are looking for an Architectural Designer to join our San Francisco studio. This role involves supporting Project Architects/Managers in the design and development of project documents for large-scale residential and hospitality projects.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work independently on architectural services for small to medium projects or oversee portions of large projects as part of a design team
- →Refine and develop design concepts as directed by Senior Designers/Architects/Managers
- →Contribute to planning and design concepts for complex projects
- →Oversee design work of junior staff to ensure integration and cohesion
- →Provide oversight and mentorship to junior staff
- →Present design solutions to client representatives and design review committees
- →Art direct the development of visualizations for presentations
- →Coordinate drawings with other design disciplines
- →Find technical solutions to deliver designs through documentation and detailing
- →Relate building design concepts to building codes, zoning ordinances, and other external criteria
- →Prepare, develop, edit, and coordinate specifications with drawings to meet project requirements
- →Evaluate, select, and approve materials and products
- →Work seamlessly between 2D and 3D drawing environments to communicate ideas
- →Support senior staff members based on project needs
