About the Role
We are looking for an Architectural Designer to join our San Francisco studio. This role involves supporting Project Architects/Managers in the design and development of project documents for large-scale residential and hospitality projects.
Key Responsibilities
- βWork independently on architectural services for small to medium projects or oversee portions of large projects as part of a design team
- βRefine and develop design concepts as directed by Senior Designers/Architects/Managers
- βContribute to planning and design concepts for complex projects
- βOversee design work of junior staff to ensure integration and cohesion
- βProvide oversight and mentorship to junior staff
- βPresent design solutions to client representatives and design review committees
- βArt direct the development of visualizations for presentations
- βCoordinate drawings with other design disciplines
- βFind technical solutions to deliver designs through documentation and detailing
- βRelate building design concepts to building codes, zoning ordinances, and other external criteria
- βPrepare, develop, edit, and coordinate specifications with drawings to meet project requirements
- βEvaluate, select, and approve materials and products
- βWork seamlessly between 2D and 3D drawing environments to communicate ideas
- βSupport senior staff members based on project needs
