ELEKS Project Management Office is looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager in Buenos Aires.

REQUIREMENTS
•
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field — or equivalent practical experience
•
7+ years of overall IT experience, including 3+ years in a Technical Project Manager or IT Project Manager role
•
Strong background in software development is highly preferred — ability to participate in technical discussions, validate effort estimates, and communicate effectively with engineering teams
•
Proven experience in workload planning, capacity management, budget tracking, and prioritization across multiple concurrent initiatives
•
Strong roadmapping capabilities — able to build, maintain, and clearly communicate delivery roadmaps to technical teams and senior stakeholders
•
Hands-on experience supporting production releases: coordinating deployments, managing release windows, and ensuring real-time cross-team alignment
•
Demonstrated ability to manage communication, dependencies, and expectations across multiple projects and diverse stakeholder groups
•
Solid understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, or scaled frameworks)
•
Proficiency in Jira for project tracking, sprint planning, and reporting
•
Proficiency in Confluence for documentation and roadmap communication
•
Experience working in or alongside Information Security teams or within regulated technology environments
•
Ability to work 8:00 AM – 4:00/5:00 PM CDT and willingness to attend the Buenos Aires office several days per week
•
Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills — comfortable presenting to senior leadership and navigating complex organizational structures
NICE TO HAVE
•
Experience in the healthcare domain or other regulated industries
•
Hands‑on development background in Java or similar backend technologies — enabling deeper technical collaboration with the InfoSec engineering team
•
Familiarity with IAM systems, security platforms, or DevSecOps tooling
•
Project management certifications such as PMP, PMI‑ACP, or equivalent
•
Experience with release management and change management tools (e.g., ServiceNow)
•
Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks relevant to information security
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Direct and manage project development from project initiation to closure within budget, schedule and resource limits
• Negotiate, define, communicate and manage the scope of the project
• Develop, maintain and effectively execute project plan throughout the project life
• Ensure timely revision of project plan to meet changing needs and requirements
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones, review deliverables and milestones prepared by the team
• Forecast, track and manage project budgets, and ensure timely invoicing
• Define, communicate, implement and monitor quality standards on all project deliverables
• Manage day-to-day operational aspects of the project
• Plan and manage internal and external project communications, ensuring effective exchange of project information and deliverables
• Identify, analyze, prioritize, mitigate and communicate project risks
• Serve as liaison between company and client for overall project and support activities. Develop lasting relationships with client’s representatives that foster trust and goodwill
• Identify project resources necessary and partner with other company managers to acquire resources
• Act as a mentor to Project Coordinators and other team members; inspire collaboration and teamwork
• Assists in the ongoing development of the Project Management Office. Recommend improvements to project management policies/procedures where needed
• Assist the PMO with performing project team assessments and evaluations
