About the Role

We are looking for a backend-focused Software Engineer to join Elliptic's Automation Forge team. This role involves designing and building the APIs, workflows, and services that power Elliptic's AI-powered tools for compliance teams investigating crypto transactions.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, build, and maintain backend services and event-driven systems using TypeScript and Node.js
→Develop APIs and workflows that integrate AI and LLM frameworks to power Elliptic's copilot
→Design, optimize, and query data models across relational and NoSQL databases
→Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver features from concept through to production
→Participate in technical design reviews, planning sessions, and code reviews
→Contribute to infrastructure and observability practices

Requirements

✓3–6 years of backend engineering experience with TypeScript / Node.js
✓Solid API design skills with experience building and maintaining production APIs
✓Cloud experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, S3)
✓Database proficiency with SQL (Postgres or similar) and exposure to NoSQL stores
✓Structured approach to problem-solving and system design
✓Strong collaboration skills across engineering, product, and design
