About the Role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team at Emburse. This role involves developing engaging and interconnected system solutions, enhancing customer experiences, and solving interesting technical challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop new features or enhancements with minimal supervision
- →Fix bugs of moderate complexity and demonstrate proficient debugging skills
- →Review code for team members, providing in-depth comments
- →Design and build JSON or REST services and APIs
- →Work with 3rd party APIs, workflow, and integration architectures
- →Implement unit testing and integration testing where needed
- →Contribute to technical documentation and knowledge base
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
- ✓Minimum of 4 years of software development experience
- ✓Professional experience building web applications in React, Angular, or similar frameworks
- ✓Experience with SQL and relational database management systems (e.g., MySQL)
- ✓Experience working with source control (e.g., Git)
- ✓Knowledge of common CSS methodologies (BEM, ITCSS, OOCSS, Utility First)
- ✓Experience with modern JavaScript syntax (promises, async/await, rest/spread)
- ✓Experience with front end build tools (Webpack, Rollup, Gulp)
