About the Role
We are looking for an IT Security Intern to join Emma β The Sleep Company, the worldβs largest D2C sleep brand. This role will support IT security awareness and training campaigns, assist in investigating security threats, and help maintain IT governance documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- βSupport the planning and execution of IT security awareness and training campaigns
- βAssist in investigating and documenting security threats such as phishing attempts and policy violations
- βCollect, organize, and maintain evidence related to security incidents and training completion
- βFollow up with project stakeholders on security, risk, and governance-related action items
- βSupport the maintenance and improvement of IT governance documentation, policies, and procedures
- βTrack and report on training progress, incident trends, and open governance actions
- βAssist in compliance-related activities, audits, and risk assessments under supervision
Requirements
- βCurrently pursuing a degree in Information Security, IT, Computer Science, or a related field
- βBasic understanding of cybersecurity and IT governance concepts
- βStrong organizational skills with high attention to detail and documentation quality
- βGood written and verbal communication skills
- βAbility to handle sensitive and confidential information responsibly
- βProficient with common productivity tools such as Excel, PowerPoint, and documentation tools
