About the Role
We are seeking an Application Security Analyst to join our team. This role is responsible for conducting security assessments, identifying vulnerabilities, and implementing security controls to protect applications from potential threats.
Key Responsibilities
- →Conduct comprehensive security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing of applications to identify potential vulnerabilities and security risks
- →Identify, prioritise, and track security vulnerabilities identified during security assessments
- →Manage and maintain security tools and technologies used for application security testing and monitoring
- →Provide support during security incidents related to applications
- →Promote a culture of security awareness among development teams and stakeholders
- →Maintain detailed documentation of security assessments, findings, and remediation efforts
- →Collaborate closely with development teams, architects, IT operations, and security stakeholders
- →Identify opportunities for process improvement, optimization, and automation in application security practices
Requirements
- ✓Experience with security assessments, code reviews, and penetration testing
- ✓Knowledge of security tools such as SAST, DAST, and WAFs
- ✓Understanding of secure coding practices and threat mitigation techniques
- ✓Ability to collaborate effectively with development teams and stakeholders
- ✓Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- ✓Excellent communication and documentation skills
- ✓Familiarity with security standards and regulations
