About the Role
Epic Games is seeking a Senior Systems Designer to develop key progression, economy, and balance features for a new game project. This role involves designing, prototyping, and implementing features while collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
- →Work closely with project leads and directors to shape and evolve complex design systems
- →Design, document, prototype, and iterate on systems, overseeing implementation from start to finish
- →Create scripting, data, and content required by systems, leveraging Unreal Engine and other tools
- →Solicit and integrate feedback from the team to deliver engaging player experiences
- →Expand and iterate on systems in a live game environment
Requirements
- ✓5+ years of experience shipping titles as a Systems Designer
- ✓Experience with progression, economy, and engagement features
- ✓Familiarity with live-service multiplayer environments and Unreal Engine
- ✓Understanding of player motivations and progression systems
- ✓Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing project needs
