Web Developer (Contract) at epoch-ai

Epoch AI is looking for a full-time web developer to support our work tracking frontier data centers. This role will largely consist of implementing front-end designs and making changes to interactivity.   About the role This is an independent contractor role. Your main responsibility will be to implement new designs and features, and to and fix issues with a specific feature of our website. The code is written in React on Astro, though no prior familiarity with Astro is necessary. You will coordinate with our web development and data teams to support our Frontier Data Centers research project, particularly our satellite explorer.   This role is fully remote, and we are able to offer contracts in many countries, although we prefer candidates in time-zones overlapping with our existing team (between UTC+2 and UTC–7). Full-time is strongly preferred. Wages are not restricted to USD, and contracts and payments are usually in local currencies. Conversions are based on average exchange rates. • Fully remote environment, including flexible work hours.
