About the Role
We are seeking a Program Operations Coordinator to support the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program. This role involves coordinating program operations, ensuring compliance, and managing administrative systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Assist Director with operational planning and execution of the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program
- →Implement the comprehensive program timeline, including registration, employer onboarding, participant placement, and payroll cycles
- →Ensure compliance with all local policies, work permit regulations, and documentation requirements
- →Prepare and submit required activity, compliance, fiscal and performance reports in a timely manner
- →Maintain administrative oversight of the program budget and monitor expenditures
- →Review and approve timesheets prior to submission to Director for final review and processing
- →Collaborate with career coaches to oversee timesheet verification and payroll submissions
- →Supervise check distribution procedures to ensure accountability and transparency
- →Identify and resolve discrepancies related to compensation or fiscal documentation
- →Oversee the full participant application and selection process
- →Coordinate orientations for youth, parents/guardians, and employer partners
- →Manage document control systems for applications, timesheets, progress reports, and compliance files
- →Develop and maintain procedural systems for file management and reporting
Requirements
