About the Role
Join Esri's team of talented software engineers to deliver mission-critical geospatial systems. As a QFE Build Programmer for ArcGIS Enterprise, you'll build and deliver hot fixes and software patches, optimizing build processes and developing efficient pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- →Develop tools and scripts to support build automation for Jenkins pipelines
- →Develop and maintain software build pipelines using Maven, Groovy and Python
- →Create automated test suites for pipeline validation
- →Work with multiple teams to integrate new features and components
- →Oversee Patch integration builds using InstallShield and MSI/MSP
- →Optimize build processes for speed and reliability
- →Support Patch source code management using Git
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- ✓Familiarity with Java, JavaScript, or Python
- ✓Basic understanding of HTTP/S and web servers like Apache Tomcat
- ✓Experience with build tools like Maven, Ant, or Groovy
- ✓Experience with version control systems like Git
- ✓Knowledge of Linux environments and shell scripting
- ✓Experience with databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
- ✓Understanding of multi-tiered software architectures
- ✓Awareness of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- ✓Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
- ✓Ability to work independently and collaboratively
