About the Role

The Database Administrator (DBA) is responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of database systems to ensure high availability and security. This role involves managing data integrity, optimizing queries, and supporting development teams with database-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities

→Install, configure, and upgrade database servers (SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, etc.).
→Create and manage database objects (tables, indexes, views, stored procedures).
→Monitor database performance and implement tuning strategies.
→Develop and maintain backup strategies.
→Perform disaster recovery planning and execution.
→Implement database security policies (roles, permissions, encryption).
→Analyze query performance and optimize SQL statements.
→Manage indexing strategies and partitioning.

Requirements

✓Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, and MySQL databases.
✓Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies.
✓Understanding of database security and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA).
✓Skills in query optimization and performance tuning.
