BPT is enabled by global engineering teams working on next-generation applications and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS). As a Senior Software Engineer with specialized knowledge in Azure Cosmos DB and MongoDB, you will be a crucial part of our delivery team, ensuring the product features are completely automated and reducing the idea to live time to Business. This role reports to a Manager.
Required Experience and qualification
Experience:
β’ 4-7 years of experience with developing end-to-end web applications using Microsoft stack of technologies.
β’ Good working knowledge of Web application development using .NET Core (6/7/8), C#, Asp.net Core, MVC, WebAPI, Postman.
β’ Good Working knowledge of Angular 7 or above, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery, HTML5 and CSS3.
β’ Decent working knowledge of Cosmos DB, Elastic Search, Redis, Azure Functions, Azure DevOps, CI/CD, Event Driven Architecture, Domain Driven Architecture, Microservices,  MSSQL β SQL etc.
β’ Experience with usage of Azure DevOps
β’ Familiar with UI testing and Unit Testing (MS Test/ Jasmine/ MOQ/ NUnit/ Karma etc.)
β’ Good understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP); able to solve technical problems
β’ Should have working knowledge on Code review that includes, raising code review, resolve comment reviews, Closing code reviews.
β’ Should be aware of best practices in programming
β’ Should know how to troubleshoot complex issues, performance-related issues, how to write efficient code and query
β’ Good to have experience in guiding junior team members and grooming them
β’ Working knowledge Authentication and Authorization [Plus OAuth2, OpenIDC etc.] (5+)
β’ Should have worked on at least one SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) project
β’ Should have worked in an AGILE practice methodology (preferably SCRUM)Required Qualifications:

β’ Implementing customer feedback (changes/enhancements)

β’ Investigate and resolve complex issues (or escalated issues from Level 1 and Level 2 support).
β’ Analyze logs, application behavior, and system performance to identify root causes.
β’ Handle incidents involving application crashes, data inconsistencies, or integration failures.
β’ Root Cause Analysis (RCA) & Permanent Fixes
β’ Conduct detailed RCA for recurring or high-impact issues.
β’ Collaborate with development teams to implement long-term fixes or enhancements.
β’ Application Monitoring & Performance Tuning
β’ Use monitoring tools (e.g., app insights, Grafana, kibana etc.) to proactively detect anomalies.
β’ Optimize application performance and scalability.
β’ Deployment & Release Support
β’ Support production deployments, hotfixes, and rollback procedures.
β’ Validate post-deployment stability and performance.
β’ Compliance & Validation
β’ Ensure support activities align with GxP, and any other applicabl regulatory requirements.
β’ Maintain audit trails and documentation for all changes and incidents.
β’ Collaboration & Communication
β’ Work closely with DevOps, QA, and product teams to resolve issues.
β’ Communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders when needed.
β’ Grooming next level
β’ Guide and groom junior members to next level challenges to inepnedently handle product improvement and customer feedback
β’ Knowledge Management
β’ Document solutions, workarounds, and known issues in a knowledge base.
β’ Provide guidance and training to L1/L2 teams.
