About the Role
We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to provide first and second-line support for company internal users and contractors. This role involves managing various IT equipment and systems to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Install, configure, and troubleshoot user laptops, workstations, printers, mobile devices, and other office IT equipment
- →Configure, administer, and update Windows, MAC, and Linux operating systems on user devices
- →Manage user device environment using user device management tools
- →Create and manage user accounts in Okta, AD, Azure AD, o365, and other systems
- →Perform physical network related tasks including patching, device installation, ports assignment, and cabling
- →Install and maintain server and network equipment, perform cable patching in data centers and server rooms
- →Keep inventory of IT purchases and assets, create/update inventory records, assign equipment to users, audit inventory, and perform decommissioning
- →Work closely with facility and security teams to resolve security issues
- →Continuously develop and improve local IT infrastructure
- →Provide IT asset management according to internal procedures
- →Provide service/system operations and regular/ad-hoc maintenance to ensure service availability and security requirements
- →Resolve incidents timely, escalate to third-party suppliers, and analyze and resolve problems
- →Provision system updates and deployments according to internal procedures
- →Fulfill user requests according to established SLAs
- →Perform other duties as asked by the manager, related to this position or IT infrastructure
- →Manage logistics, inventory, and equipment between locations
Requirements
- ✓Experience with Windows, MAC, and Linux operating systems
- ✓Knowledge of user device management tools
- ✓Familiarity with Okta, Active Directory, Azure AD, and Office 365
- ✓Understanding of network equipment and data center operations
- ✓Ability to manage inventory and perform physical network tasks
- ✓Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- ✓Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
