About the Role
Ground Network Services (GNS) is seeking a Ground Network Service Europe to oversee the procurement, implementation, and operation efficiency of our linehaul network throughout Europe. This role plays a crucial part in network design, improving connections, and ensuring cost efficiency while driving operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead the strategy, design, and optimization of the European linehaul network
- →Oversee day-to-day operational performance, KPIs, and exception management
- →Manage capacity planning, contingencies, and seasonal demand fluctuations
- →Lead carrier procurement, RFQs/RFPs, supplier negotiations, and performance reviews
- →Own the regional transportation budget, costing models, and financial performance
- →Ensure compliance with EU/UK transport legislation, safety, and risk standards
- →Drive data-led decision-making, systems adoption, and continuous improvement
- →Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing regional team and collaborate with senior stakeholders across functions
Requirements
