About the Role
We are seeking a Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team. This role focuses on assessing and managing risk through trade compliance, operations, customers, and systems while adhering to company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- →Proactively monitor key metrics including operational performance
- →Complete and communicate Trade Compliance monthly audits
- →Exemplify and teach company culture, mission, and goals
- →Build healthy cross-functional relationships and promote team spirit
- →Ensure compliance with company controls, policies, and procedures
- →Establish, execute, and update department goals and expectations
- →Enforce customs export operational process standards
- →Manage and monitor service execution within the Compliance department
- →Participate in system optimization and efficiency improvements
- →Administer and execute the Trade Compliance Program at branch level
- →Review SOPs related to exports and ensure proper backup
- →Ensure branch implementation of products’ OPS procedures
- →Support CAPAs related to Export Customs and Trade Compliance
- →Establish annual training schedule and facilitate trainings
- →Facilitate and report government agency visits
- →Attend local government agency meetings and seminars
- →Work with department managers to promote trade compliance efficiencies
- →Communicate trade compliance issues and requirements
- →Support sales staff and department managers in new business development
- →Monitor and improve key departmental metrics
- →Address corrective actions to contribute to operations efficiency
- →Escalate necessary issues to appropriate managers
Requirements
- ✓Strong understanding of trade compliance regulations
