About the Role
We are seeking a VP of Software Engineering to lead our engineering strategy and operations at Experian Health. This executive role focuses on AWS-driven innovation in the healthcare sector, with a strong emphasis on cloud transformation and driving excellence at scale.
Key Responsibilities
- →Lead engineering strategy and operations with a focus on AWS-driven innovation in healthcare
- →Bring hands-on expertise in AWS, migrating complex, data-intensive applications from on-premises to AWS
- →Work with Product Management to align engineering projects with product vision and ensure seamless feature delivery
- →Develop and implement the software engineering strategy, ensuring agreement on organizational goals and vision
- →Manage a large, diverse engineering organization, promoting a culture of innovation, collaboration, and learning
- →Lead large-scale migration of database-heavy applications from on-premises to AWS
- →Promote best practices in architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations
- →Ensure products meet rigorous quality standards and comply with healthcare regulations including HIPAA
- →Collaborate with Product, Security, Compliance, Data Science, and other teams
- →Communicate with executive leadership, board, and external partners
- →Stay current with latest technologies in cloud computing and healthcare technology
Requirements
- ✓Extensive experience with AWS and cloud transformation
- ✓Proven leadership in managing large engineering organizations
- ✓Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations including HIPAA
- ✓Experience with migrating complex applications to cloud environments
- ✓Demonstrated ability to develop and implement engineering strategies
