About the Team
Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology. Role Summary
As a Graphic Designer II at Fanatics Collectibles, you will play a key role in developing high-quality visual designs across various product lines and marketing initiatives. This mid-level position requires strong conceptual thinking, multi-tasking abilities, and technical expertise, ensuring the successful execution of designs from concept to final production. You will work closely with Art Directors, Senior Designers, and cross-functional teams to elevate the creative output while contributing to design direction, problem-solving, and workflow improvements.
What youβll be doing:
β’ Creative Execution & Design Development
β’ Design and develop visually compelling designs for trading card products
β’ Create high-quality visual assets for trading cards, branding, and marketing campaigns assets
β’ Develop and refine typography, color palettes, and layouts to enhance storytelling and product appeal
β’ Produce production-ready files with a deep understanding of print and digital specifications
β’ Provide creative solutions that enhance product differentiation and collector engagement
β’ Contribution to Creative Direction
β’ Offer design insights and strategic input to elevate brand aesthetics and product positioning
β’ Contribute to brainstorming sessions, providing innovative and trend-forward design concepts
β’ Stay current with sports, pop culture, collectibles, and industry trends to inform creative strategies
β’ Collaboration & Communication
β’ Work cross-functionally with Art Directors, Senior Designers, Marketing, Product Development, and Licensing teams to ensure design excellence
β’ Present design ideas and rationale to stakeholders, incorporating feedback effectively
β’ Provide creative mentorship and guidance to junior designers, helping to elevate overall team output
β’ Multi-Tasking & Workflow Management
β’ Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines while maintaining design integrity.
β’ Balance short-term production needs with long-term creative innovation.
β’ Adapt quickly to project shifts, feedback, and fast-paced workflows.
β’ Quality Control & Brand Consistency
β’ Ensure all design assets maintain a high standard of quality, accuracy, and brand consistency.
β’ Conduct thorough reviews of designs before production, addressing potential issues proactively.
β’ Implement best practices in file organization, asset management, and workflow efficiency.
What weβre looking for:
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
β’ 3-5 years of experience in graphic design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating branding, typography, layout, and storytelling
β’ Strong portfolio showcasing creativity, typography, color theory, layout, and branding.
β’ Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
β’ Basic understanding of print production, digital design principles, and brand identity development
β’ Excellent problem-solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced environment
β’ Strong attention to detail, with a commitment to producing high-quality work
β’ Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
β’ Passion for sports, collectibles, and design is a plus

The salary range represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. This salary range is specific to New York City and may not be applicable to other locations.
