About the Team
Fanatics Collectibles is a new company operating at the intersection of collectibles, culture, and technology. Backed by world-class investors, operators, and sports & entertainment partners, we are building the global leader in next-generation collectibles. As part of the broader Fanatics ecosystem, we leverage a digital sports platform that spans over 900 sports properties and engages more than 81 million fans. Together, we are reimagining every part of the collectibles experience for fans, partners, and creators.
Role Summary
Fanatics Collectibles is seeking a Sales Manager, Greater China, based in Shanghai, to drive revenue growth and expand market penetration across Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan. This individual will be responsible for developing and executing regional channel strategies, building strategic distributor partnerships, and cultivating key account relationships to grow our Topps trading card portfolio and other collectibles businesses across the region.
This role requires a highly entrepreneurial mindset, strong commercial leadership, and deep experience navigating the diverse retail, hobby, and consumer landscapes within Greater China. The Sales Manager will play a critical role in establishing and scaling Fanatics Collectiblesβ commercial presence across the region, with a strong focus on developing long-term key account partnerships, expanding distribution, and driving sustainable growth across retail, hobby, and eCommerce channels.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Revenue Growth
β’ Develop and implement sales strategies tailored to Greater China markets, aligned with global and regional business priorities.
β’ Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities across key retail, hobby, specialty, and online channels.
β’ Adapt commercial strategies to local consumer behaviors, cultural nuances, and varying levels of market maturity across the region.
Distributor & Partner Management
β’ Build and manage relationships with distributors, sub-distributors, and strategic channel partners across Greater China.
β’ Ensure partners are fully aligned with brand positioning, sales objectives, and long-term growth plans.
β’ Negotiate commercial agreements, establish performance targets, and drive execution excellence to maximize market penetration and sell-through.
Key Account Development
β’ Develop and strengthen relationships with major retail, specialty, and eCommerce accounts throughout Greater China.
β’ Lead strategic account planning, joint business development initiatives, and promotional activations with key partners.
β’ Serve as the primary commercial lead for pricing discussions, negotiations, and long-term partnership development.
β’ Identify and cultivate new key account opportunities to accelerate brand growth and regional market expansion.
Market Development & Launch Execution
β’ Support new product launches and brand activations in partnership with local marketing and channel teams.
β’ Drive merchandising excellence, retail staff education, and collector community engagement to strengthen brand presence.
β’ Gather and communicate market insights and consumer trends to help shape product, marketing, and go-to-market strategies.
Reporting & Insights
β’ Monitor distributor and key account performance, providing regular sales forecasts, business updates, and market analysis.
β’ Leverage data-driven insights to optimize sales strategies, improve operational effectiveness, and identify incremental growth opportunities.
Qualifications & Experience
β’ Bachelorβs degree in business, marketing, or related field required.
β’ 5β8 years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial management, ideally within consumer products, collectibles, toys, entertainment, or lifestyle brands.
β’ Proven track record developing distributor partnerships and managing key accounts across Greater China.
β’ Experience building businesses or expanding brands within Mainland China strongly preferred.
β’ Fluent Mandarin and English required; Cantonese proficiency is a plus.
β’ Strong negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
β’ Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and adaptable in fast-paced, multi-market environments.
β’ Passion for fandom culture, sports, entertainment, or collectibles is a strong plus.
