We are seeking an Operations Associate to support free to play game operations and content execution across the Fanatics App and Fanatics Ecosystem Services (FES). This role sits at the intersection of sports knowledge, operational execution, and strategic decision making.
The ideal candidate is deeply knowledgeable about sports, understands how fans engage with live moments, and can translate the sports calendar into compelling in app experiences and campaigns. You will be responsible for ensuring daily game and content operations run smoothly while proactively solving problems as schedules, injuries, and priorities shift.
This role requires flexibility, strong judgment, and comfort working evenings, weekends, and holidays aligned to the sports calendar.
Responsibilities:
Game & Content Operations
β’ Create, configure, and manage daily free to play contests aligned to the live sports calendar.
β’ Apply deep sports knowledge to identify key matchups, storylines, and moments that will resonate with fans.
β’ Monitor injuries, line changes, and real time game developments to proactively adjust contests and content.
β’ Partner closely with Marketing and Product teams to align game mechanics and messaging.
Content & Marketing Operations
β’ Support the build and maintenance of the FanApp content and marketing calendar across sports, promotions, and free to play.
β’ Translate sports moments into clear plans for in app content with defined requirements, timelines, and success criteria.
β’ Coordinate with Creative, Legal, and Marketing to QA assets, ensure compliance, and approve executions.
β’ Execute daily content and campaign setup, asset management, and live monitoring.
β’ Provide off hours coverage (evenings/weekends) to launch or update content tied to live sporting events.
Operational Excellence
β’ Identify gaps, inefficiencies, or risks in game and content workflows and proactively propose solutions.
β’ Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality across all live experiences.
β’ Act as a reliable execution partner in a fast paced, evolving environment.
Qualifications:
β’ 1β3 years of experience in operations, marketing, or content roles; sports industry experience strongly preferred.
β’ Extensive knowledge of major sports preferred.
β’ Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple live workstreams simultaneously.
β’ Proven ability to execute consistently while adapting quickly to change.
β’ Collaborative, proactive, and comfortable working cross functionally.
β’ Bachelorβs degree in Sports, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
β’ Willingness to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
β’ Occasional travel for team offsites or office collaboration.

Ranges will change based on country and state of residence, which are reflected in Geographical Zones defined by Fanatics Betting and Gaming. The range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the actual offer is confirmed.
