About the Role
Fantom Corporation is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines for large-scale data processing and analytics initiatives. This role involves collaborating with software development and engineering teams to integrate data solutions into enterprise systems.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain robust data pipelines for large datasets
- →Collaborate with software engineers to integrate data processing solutions
- →Develop and optimize SQL queries for data retrieval and analysis
- →Manage and maintain relational databases including PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MySQL
- →Develop automation scripts using Python and Linux shell scripting
- →Operate within AWS cloud environments for data infrastructure
- →Structure and deliver data outputs in formats like JSON
- →Support preparation and management of structured and unstructured datasets
- →Ensure reliability and scalability of data pipelines
Requirements
- ✓Active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph
- ✓Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field
- ✓8+ years of experience with data pipelines
- ✓4+ years of hands-on experience with Python development
- ✓Experience with AWS cloud services
- ✓Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MySQL
- ✓Strong experience writing SQL queries
- ✓4+ years of experience in Linux environments
- ✓Experience handling structured and unstructured data formats
