About the Role
We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our team at Farfetch, a leading global marketplace for luxury fashion. This role focuses on ensuring quality within development teams and contributing to our continuous delivery process.
Key Responsibilities
- →Advocate for quality within development teams
- →Make testing part of the teams' development process
- →Interface with Engineering, Product, Design, Infrastructure and Data teams
- →Review software requirements and technical specification documentation
- →Coach other team engineers on quality and test automation best practices
- →Contribute to our Farfetch quality, continuous delivery process and infrastructure.
Requirements
- ✓Knowledge of object-oriented programming languages like C# or Java
- ✓Experience in specifying and running scenarios and test cases (manual and automatic)
- ✓Experience in writing algorithms and reporting bugs
- ✓Experience in bug management tools
- ✓Knowledge of databases and version control systems
- ✓Knowledge about CI/CD processes
- ✓Experience in UI and API automated tests is a plus
- ✓Experience in Accessibility and Performance testing is a plus
- ✓Proficient in written and spoken English.
