About the Role
The Finance Operations Analyst will be a key member of the team, supporting finance operations. This role involves managing daily financial transactions, reconciliations, and supporting various financial processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Apply credit card and incoming payments to invoices upon receipt of funds
- →Analyse unapplied cash transactions and resolve discrepancies
- →Analyse unmatched transactions and partial payments
- →Review and analyse suspense accounts and manage unidentified payments
- →Post non-P2P payments and non-OTC receipts
- →Execute customer refund requests in Stripe
- →Receive and apply customer remittances
- →Record transfer funds based on Group Treasury instructions
- →Download and record bank transactions daily
- →Reconcile monthly GL and bank statement transactions
- →Reconcile credit card control accounts monthly
- →Manage incoming payment requests via email
- →Support manual billing process and Sales Order amendments
- →Assist with tax-related queries on invoices
- →Liaise with business departments regarding payment queries
- →Maintain control framework for financial processes
- →Coordinate with outsourced accountants for month-end processes
Requirements
- ✓Experience in finance operations or accounting
- ✓Strong understanding of payment processing and reconciliation
- ✓Proficiency with financial software (NetSuite, Stripe)
- ✓Attention to detail and accuracy in financial data handling
- ✓Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- ✓Communication skills for internal and external stakeholders
- ✓Knowledge of accounting principles and controls
- ✓Experience with bank reconciliation processes
