About the Role

The Backend Infrastructure Team at Fireblocks plays a crucial role in shaping the platform's core. This position involves creating and deploying core software infrastructure components at scale while maintaining and enhancing internal TypeScript frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

→Creating and deploying core software infrastructure components at scale
→Maintaining and enhancing internal TypeScript frameworks, tools, and platforms
→Introducing self-service deployment capabilities to empower R&D teams
→Advocating for and enforcing standards and best practices
→Leading and educating through knowledge sharing via documentation and presentations
→Addressing complex production issues and developing long-term solutions
→Contributing to the engineering and standardization of CI/CD infrastructure
→Working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure infrastructure performance

Requirements

✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; Master's preferred
✓7+ years of experience as a backend engineer with infrastructure development focus
✓Proficiency in NodeJS/Python and understanding of their ecosystems
✓Experience designing and maintaining scalable infrastructure components
✓Solid understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
✓Strong knowledge of CI/CD concepts and tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
✓Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation)
✓Excellent communication and collaboration skills
✓Experience with blockchain or cryptocurrency - Advantage
✓Experience with NestJS - Advantage
