About the Role
FL87, Inc. is seeking a motivated Research Associate to drive in vivo studies for platform development and therapeutic proof-of-principle. This role involves working with animal models and bringing scientific rigor to develop new nucleic acid therapeutics in a dynamic biotechnology environment.
Key Responsibilities
- →Execute and analyze animal experiments to assess in vivo efficacy, safety, and PK/PD profiles of novel nucleic acid therapeutics
- →Support the design and execution of method development and pilot experiments to test specific hypotheses
- →Maintain electronic lab notebooks and document data timely
- →Provide support in additional in vitro assays as needed
- →Ensure rapid documentation of all results and observations
- →Communicate experimental findings effectively in various formats
- →Work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
Requirements
- ✓BS with 5+ years or MS with 3+ years of industry experience
- ✓Experience executing in vivo studies involving gene delivery and nucleic acid therapeutics in rodents
- ✓Experience dosing therapeutics via various routes of administration
- ✓Experience collecting materials and supporting ex vivo bioanalytics
- ✓Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ✓Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment
- ✓Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- ✓Strong understanding of the scientific method and its application in a biotech setting
