About the Role
Flex is a growth-stage FinTech company creating the best rent payment experience. We're looking for a Staff User Researcher to solve problems for consumers across the country who are underserved by existing financial products. You'll inform the vision and strategy for a new area of our business bringing a zero-to-one product to market.
Key Responsibilities
- →Collaborate with Product, Design, and Business leaders to define research objectives
- →Establish and communicate progress on a high-impact research roadmap
- →Design and run usability tests, surveys, and other data collection methods
- →Prepare and present clear, concise research findings to stakeholders
- →Integrate insights into product and company strategy
- →Maintain a growing knowledge base of research findings
- →Foster a culture of continuous learning and customer-obsession
- →Guide teams to self-serve research
Requirements
- ✓6+ years of experience with complex consumer software
- ✓Proficiency in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- ✓Exceptional communication skills for all stakeholder levels
- ✓Track record of influencing product team outcomes
- ✓Self-starter with comfort in ambiguous problems
- ✓Experience in early-stage consumer tech companies
- ✓Knowledge of new technologies
- ✓Passion for improving financial well-being
- ✓Portfolio of work detailing contributions
