About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Account Executive to join Flexport, a company that is revolutionizing global trade with innovative technology solutions. This role involves building and maintaining a healthy book of business by solving customer problems with tech-enabled supply chain and fulfillment solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- →Build your book of business by closing net-new customers and/or cross-selling and upselling existing customers
- →Uncover and connect with ideal clients through self-prospecting and collaboration with the SDR team
- →Consult with new clients to understand their supply chain needs
- →Lead Monthly and Quarterly Business Meetings with existing clients
- →Create value-add solutions through remote and in-person meetings
- →Help plan and execute client events
- →Provide coaching and guidance to other team members
- →Navigate, bundle, and sell Flexport's suite of products
- →Work closely with internal teams to drive a best-in-class customer experience
- →Lead the customer onboarding process
Requirements
- ✓7+ years of experience in a full cycle sales role
- ✓5+ years of experience in international freight forwarding sales and/or supply chain technology sales
- ✓Expert understanding of freight, supply chain, or logistics industries
- ✓Deep understanding of Customs Brokerage, Duty Avoidance Strategies, Booking management solutions, etc.
- ✓An obsession with client happiness
- ✓Ability to navigate complex deals and sales cycles with executive stakeholders
- ✓Competitive and creative drive to win over customers
- ✓Demonstrated ability to run a structured sales process
- ✓Proven success building and maintaining long-term commercial relationships
- ✓Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
- ✓Ability to learn fast, strong work ethic, and a track record of growing into a top sales executive
