About the Role
We are looking for a Full Stack Developer to join our Cost Capture Team at Flexport. This role involves developing innovative tools for procurement cost tracking across Ocean, Air, and Trucking freight logistics. You'll work on creating cutting-edge technologies that digitize procurement contracts and optimize decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain systems that represent logistics entities such as packing lists, booking notifications, and routing guides.
- →Contribute to code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge.
- →Collaborate with business partners and product managers to translate complex business problems into technical solutions.
- →Build highly available, secure, and distributed systems within a microservices architecture.
- →Work with peer teams on cross-team projects to build solutions that add new functionality to multiple Flexport systems.
- →Rapidly build and launch products incrementally using CI/CD practices.
- →Ensure high-quality standards by incorporating metrics and applying learnings from post-mortems.
Requirements
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- ✓1+ years of professional experience in full-stack development with demonstrated coding skills.
- ✓Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Java, Python, Ruby, or Node.js.
- ✓Proficiency with technologies like databases, API development, and testing frameworks.
- ✓Proficiency with deploying, monitoring, and maintaining production services.
