About the Role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to join Flipster, a high-performance crypto perpetuals trading platform. This role involves leading and managing a full-stack squad, mentoring engineers, and making critical engineering decisions.

Key Responsibilities

→Conduct regular performance reviews and set clear goals for team members
→Mentor engineers to improve their technical and soft skills
→Design and support career growth plans for direct reports
→Participate in recruitment to build a high-performing team
→Lead and manage a full-stack squad, fostering a culture of technical excellence
→Make critical engineering decisions regarding architecture and technology selection
→Drive performance optimization efforts
→Collaborate with product teams to implement technical SEO best practices
→Act as the technical point of contact for stakeholders

Requirements

✓Proven experience managing or leading a web engineering team
✓Deep proficiency in React and Next.js, specifically with Server-Side Rendering
✓Strong grounding in Computer Science theories, including algorithms and data structures
✓Solid understanding of technical SEO principles
✓Ability to lead a full-stack squad with a comprehensive understanding of frontend and backend services
