About the Role

We are looking for a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic, remote team at Scout. This role involves developing and improving our AI-powered platform across our entire tech stack to create efficient, scalable solutions that drive our mission forward.

Key Responsibilities

→Design, develop, and maintain features across our full technology stack
→Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
→Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability
→Implement security and data protection measures
→Participate in code reviews and contribute to our engineering best practices
→Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends

Requirements

✓Strong experience with our tech stack: Svelte, Python, PostgreSQL (Neon), Terraform, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
✓Proven track record of building and shipping production-ready web applications
✓Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices
✓Meaningful experience building products in startup environments
✓Strong collaborator, and highly effective in a remote environment
✓Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and CI/CD pipelines
