About the Role
Foxglove is seeking a Product Engineer to build the data infrastructure for robots operating in real-world environments. This role involves developing on-device software for observability and connectivity, working with robotics frameworks and SDKs.
Key Responsibilities
- →Integrate with various robotics frameworks and multiple-language SDKs
- →Build reliable, low-resource utilization software for diverse devices
- →Provide connectivity, observability, and telemetry in constrained environments
- →Develop distributed systems for collecting and transforming observability data
- →Work with multi-cloud architecture across GCP, AWS, and Azure
Requirements
- ✓8+ years of professional experience in high-performance production software
- ✓Significant experience building on-device software in C++ or Rust
- ✓Familiarity with ROS or other robotics stacks
- ✓Experience with observability and monitoring tooling
- ✓Strong written and verbal communication skills
- ✓Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, small team environment
- ✓Consider customer impact when making technical decisions
