About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Test Engineer to join our QA team at Foxit, a leading global software provider of PDF solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable automation frameworks, executing automated and performance tests, and leveraging AI-powered testing tools to improve testing efficiency, coverage, and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- →Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript
- →Build and enhance automation frameworks using Selenium WebDriver with Java
- →Execute functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end tests
- →Develop and execute performance and load tests using Apache JMeter
- →Use AI tools to accelerate test creation, maintenance, and analysis
- →Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines
- →Analyse test results, identify defects, and work closely with developers to resolve issues
- →Participate in requirement reviews and provide feedback from a QA perspective
- →Maintain test documentation, test cases, and automation reports
- →Improve automation coverage and reduce manual testing efforts
- →Ensure best practices in test automation, coding standards, and framework design
Requirements
- ✓3+ years of experience in automation testing
- ✓Strong experience with Playwright and TypeScript
- ✓Experience with API testing (Rest Assured, Postman, or similar tools)
- ✓Experience in performance testing using Apache JMeter
- ✓Good understanding of automation framework design (POM, modular frameworks, etc.)
- ✓Experience with version control tools such as Git
- ✓Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.)
- ✓Strong knowledge of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies
- ✓Good debugging and problem-solving skills
- ✓Strong communication and collaboration skills
- ✓Education
- ✓Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
