About the Role
We are seeking a Business Analyst – Payments to join our Payments Squad within our consumer-facing retail ecommerce platform. This role plays a critical part in optimizing the end-to-end payments experience for millions of customers across Frasers Group.
Key Responsibilities
- →Partner with Product Managers to define and refine payment-related initiatives, including checkout optimization, fraud prevention, authorization improvements and alternative payment methods
- →Gather, document, and manage detailed business and functional requirements including business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
- →Analyze payment performance metrics such as authorization rates, decline reasons, chargebacks, fraud rates, checkout funnel KPIs and conversion
- →Collaborate with engineering teams in an Agile squad to ensure accurate implementation of requirements
- →Map and document end-to-end payment flows, including integrations with PSPs, gateways, and third-party providers
- →Support A/B testing initiatives to improve checkout conversion and customer experience
- →Collaborate with Technology and Architecture to ensure alignment with MACH-based architectural principles
- →Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards including PCI considerations
- →Partner closely with Product, Marketing, Digital, Technology, Architecture, UX, Analytics, and Trade / Commercial teams
- →Identify opportunities to improve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency across the payments ecosystem
- →Assist in incident analysis and post-mortems related to payment failures or degradation
Requirements
- ✓Experience in payments domain and ecommerce platforms
- ✓Strong analytical skills with ability to track and interpret payment performance metrics
- ✓Experience with Agile methodologies and product development processes
- ✓Knowledge of payment industry standards and compliance requirements
- ✓Ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams and stakeholders
- ✓Experience with payment integrations and ecosystem management
