About the Role
We are looking for a DevOps Engineer to automate and streamline our infrastructure and deployment processes. This role involves scripting, CI/CD pipeline design, and system administration.
Key Responsibilities
- βAutomate DevOps tasks including configuration management, provisioning, and deployments
- βIntegrate scripts with DevOps tools and pipelines
- βManage user accounts, permissions, and file systems
- βPerform advanced Linux administration and shell scripting tasks
- βAutomate system administration tasks using shell scripts
- βDesign and implement CI/CD pipelines for automating deployments and testing
- βUtilize popular CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and GitLab CI/CD
- βIntegrate CI/CD pipelines with version control systems and container orchestration platforms
- βSet up and manage monitoring and logging solutions
- βUse tools for collecting, analyzing, and visualizing application and infrastructure logs
- βTroubleshoot issues based on monitoring and logging data
- βUtilize Git for version control and collaboration
- βPerform branching, merging, and conflict resolution using Git
- βSet up and manage Git repositories
- βWork effectively with developers, operations teams, and other stakeholders
- βDocument DevOps processes and procedures
- βTroubleshoot complex DevOps issues
- βIdentify root causes of problems and implement solutions
Requirements
- βExperience with Python, Ruby, or Go for scripting
- βStrong knowledge of CI/CD tools and practices
- βProficiency in Linux administration and shell scripting
- βFamiliarity with Git and version control systems
- βExperience with monitoring and logging solutions
- βAbility to troubleshoot complex DevOps issues
