About the Role
We are seeking a Security Engineer to build and maintain a world-class security program in a dynamic, global environment. This role serves as the technical anchor for the team, driving Cyber Operations & Threat Management capabilities and bridging US-based engineering with India-based operations.
Key Responsibilities
- →Oversee day-to-day SOC activities including monitoring alerts, triaging incidents, and coordinating escalations
- →Identify repetitive operational tasks and architect automated solutions using Python, Bash, or PowerShell
- →Own the incident response lifecycle from detection through remediation
- →Provide mentorship and career development to junior staff
- →Work with infrastructure and DevOps teams to secure cloud deployments
- →Oversee vulnerability management programs from scanning through remediation
- →Drive continuous improvements in processes and procedures
Requirements
- ✓5–7+ years of combined IT and security experience in Security Operations
- ✓Deep understanding of threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response
- ✓Proven ability to write scripts and automate security workflows
- ✓Familiarity with SIEM, EDR, NDR, WAF, and DLP technologies
- ✓Experience with modern infrastructure including cloud platforms and containerization
- ✓Excellent communication skills for managing cross-functional teams
- ✓Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- ✓Relevant security certifications (CISSP, GIAC, CISM, OSCP) are highly desirable
